I had stopped a small luncheonette in queens right off exit 23 to grab an egg sandwich and decided to sit and have it there and asked for a coffee while i waited, i had just came from a physical in the city and was pretty cranky, the very nice woman brought the coffee over , to be honest i was expecting a crappy burnt cup, i took a sip and i actually said out loud”wow” thats great coffee! Thats when the cook a Hawaiian guy came over smiling explained about the Browny brand! So glad i stopped in there! Love it!

Perfectly roasted!

I prefer not to use overly oily dark beans in my coffee machine because they can cause clogs. The Ethiopia beans are perfectly roasted and taste wonderful!

    I've been an avid coffee drinker all my life and this Sumatra medium roast is my all time favorite. So much so that I've used over 50lbs of it, Just for myself. It's bold, yet with a sweetness to it and has a complex chocolate/nutty taste to it. It's great anytime of the day. It has the kick you want in the morning and with its flavoring, is a great after dinner coffee. The bold roast has more morning kick to it but in my opinion looses the complex flavors of this medium roast. I've been hesitant to do a review on it because I never want them to run out of it.

    I allow myself one cup of coffee per day and therefore it MUST be good. THAT is why I use Browny's Sumatra Dark Roast whole bean. In addition to the rich flavor I get when I grind the beans to make the coffee I add 1 1/2 Almonds (quartered) per handfull of beans. This adds to it's rich flavor and with the addition of a little cream, starts my day off right.
