The Coffee Belt aka "Bean Belt" is meant to define an imaginary strip that circles the globe around the equator running from north to south. It encompasses all of the world's coffee growing regions, touching primarily on South America, Central America, Asia, and Africa.

These regions all share a tropical climate, however differ in the variations in soil, temperature, rainfall, and altitude. Each have unique characteristics that influence the flavor profiles of the coffee being produced. 

Coffee that are produced outside the coffee belt are nowhere near as good because those regions lack the fundamentals essential for the coffee plant.
